Care Committee

As many of you will know, the Care Committee has a car service to take people to the Oxford hospitals for appointments. You could also be taken to the Water Eaton Park & Ride from where you can get a bus to the John Radcliffe or Churchill Hospitals.

Perhaps you would also find the Shopmobility scheme helpful if you have limited mobility. This is a free service offering the loan of electric scooters or wheelchairs for shopping or sightseeing in Oxford city centre. The Shopmobility office is based on level 1 of the Westgate Car Park near the disabled parking. If you use their mobility equipment you can have free parking for the duration of your stay.

For more information call Judy Mitchell on 374104 or the Shopmobility number, which is 01865 248737, or log on to www.oxford.gov.uk
